I’m looking for this blackpowder pistol if anyone can point me into the right direction I would very much appreciate it I’ve been looking for sometime now perfer new but open to used
Google "1851 aces and eights" and you'll get some hits. Apparently made by Pietta and marketed by Traditions. Also Google "Traditions 1851 aces and eights" and "pietta 1851" and you'll get better info. Best I could see, the Aces and Eights model is not made anymore. The Traditions site shows the same gun now, just without the Dead Man grips. Both are .44 caliber. Hickok's were actually engraved nickel .36 caliber with engraved ivory grips..
You'll just have to check GunBroker, Armslist, etc.. As I posted, Tradtions still seems to have the same gun, without the Dead Man grips. Maybe you could find the grips on eBay, etc..
Dixie Gun Works lists plain polymer ivory grips for the 1851, if that's any help.
