Good God! Yeah, I am a fan of the .41 Maggie, but dang if I can see over $8000 for that!
I happen to find a Mod 57 at a local pawn shop for sale.... a whole bunch cheaper I might add. You want me to check on the price?

Natalie, I don't think you'd enjoy shooting that gun at all...even with the lead 1050FPS round, it kicks pretty good...might break bones in a hand not used to a lot of hard physical work...now don't get too excited about engraving...you'd think they were gold inlaying to see the prices....and you end up with a gun you kinda wish you'd left alone...the last engraving I saw was a pair of New Vaqueros...factory engraved...just didn't look good at all....so don't be sendin' your SP to the beauty shop...just shoot it and clean it and shoot it some more.....

I think the grips look stupid. The rest of it has no appeal to me. I want a firearm to shoot, hunt and do so often without worrying about my investment. I take meticulous care of all my guns but don't care for the fancy stuff.

I don't own the caliber but have only heard good things about it.
