I just found these for the SBH from Hi Vis

I'm thinking of getting a set simply because the front sight is hard for me to see etc, and I want every advantage while doing regular shooting as well as hunting.

BTW: mine came with 6 inserts....3 red, 2 green and, and one white.....the green works best for me.....

I noticed on their web site as well, showing the green insert.

This will go a long way instead of like one I saw.... a 4 5/8ths with a scope.

I have an orange one on my GP and it looks like a beacon up there. They are excellent.

I've never seen one on a SBH, but that will be my next fix so I can see those front sights better.

I've never seen one on a SBH but have a set of green fiber optic's on my Tactical Solutions Buckmark barrel and man do they make a difference. I can really see my front sight a lot better and it assists in the accuracy dept.

From what I have seen and read, these are a big +1 for adding a much better sight picture.

John the fiber optic GP sights are excellent. Mine are like a big orange beacon sitting on top of the BBL for my 61 year old eyes.

I went to our local big howdy Sportsman's Ski Haus today to have them order my Hi Viz sight. I was surprized to find out that they carry for Glocks, Sigs and other handguns and shotguns but they can not order the one I need for a Ruger SBH. I had hoped they could because the store price is way under what Hi-Viz is selling them for on line.

Oh well.... a man's got ta do what a man's got ta do, so I will have to order on line.

Well I just added into another post on getting my SBH, but I tried painting the front sight... it glows like a beacan but is a blur. So before I do the last and final extreme of adding a scope mount and red dot, I am placing the order today for the green Hi-Viz front sight. Now if that still causes a problem, the One Ragged Hole rear sight can be ordered which does allow for better sight line up. As you can see in the pictures this keeps the lines of the firearm clean etc.

I can see scoping or putting a red dot on a longer barreled handgun for hunting with, but not on a short 4 5/8ths barreled handgun as there is alot more expense involved when you do such as in a new holster etc. I'm trying to keep my expenses down being on a fixed income.

With the One Ragged hole sight you have to concentrate on the front sight and not look at the rear as it will alien automatically, it took me some time to get used to them.
