I just picked up a 25 round magazine for my 10/22. It has the metal lips and I was told that it would feed fine. Anyone here have any input? I know I should have asked before I bought it, but anyone can do it that way. :)

i have not owned a 10-22 in years, but the butler creek mags i had back then were top notch and had the rep of the best of the after-market mags available..............

way better than ram-lines or eagle............

I've heard for 20 years that the steel lips were flawless...their plastic lips trouble....SOMEONE should make a reliable 100-rounder just to play with.....

i have the butler creek metal lips 25 round mag for my 10/22. Haven't had any issues out of it so far. My inlaw has the plastic lips, and once the lips started to crack and break apart they were pretty much worthless.

I'm gonna get a couple...soon as I get a stainless 10/22-sounds like the answer...been nervous about the plastic bodies on the extended ones...these seem worth the $$...I think I'd use Elmer's dry lube or something like it inside....now to find a clip to hold two together...one up/one down preferred...

Hey, if you think the steel lip Butler Creeks are expensive, check these out:

But, I have heard that these are the most reliable, best you can buy, bar none. But they dang well should be for the price!
I bet they're sweet. I like the fact that they're all metal and not plastic like the one I got.

Mine have clips built in that allow you to snap 2 together and just flip 'em around when one empties. I might buy another one this weekend. :D
