i think if it is in good shape then sure if it is what ya want. lots of folks buy colt for the name, lots buy for an investment, and still others buy for the quality.

i still prefer a single six ruger but that's me......

I passed up one just like it a while back at my local and I'm still kicking myself in the @ss over it. It would have been nice to have one Colt in the stable. The 22 would have been a great little gun. if I remember correctly, it was $295 also.

if i remember correctly, colt had 3 different models of single action .22's. some where steel frame but i think one had an alloy frame.

Had one of those years ago. Had adjustable sights and steel frame and it was beautiful. It is a nice little gun, but is Colt lock work, which means five shot for safety, and a bit on the fragile side compared to Rugers. Not made anymore so they will go nowhere but up in value.

Can't disagree that the value will likely go up but I'm with deputy as I like the Single Six. I have had one for over 25 years and it shoots better than I can plus I like the dual calibers.
