Wondered what you folk have heard about the predictions on this year's court ruling for gun ownership in D.C.? I have heard little on this so far. It would seem favorable since we have a national movement in favor of concealed carry from the states but this is D.C. the stronghold. Maybe they will raise the personal rights with restrictions. Heavy ones! Interesting this case will be heard after being avoided for so long. And what think you?

As a former student of Constitutional law and the Court, I think this will be one of the most carefully worded rulings ever seen. Probably will address the issue of the District itself, but lean away from influencing the laws of the States as much as possible.

5-4 decision, likely legalizing a small spectrum of long arms, leaving the handgun issue out of it as much as they can. My prediction.

i don't have a clue, i feel that it will be a victory for the 2A------but at the same time a bit scarey as it can be a two edged sword...............

a lot is ridin' on this----perhaps more than many folks realize..........................
