I know these may not be everyones cup of tea, but they are so pretty I wanted to show them off. They are from a new batch of Mesquite that I received.

These are made for a gentleman that must have more than a dozen pairs of my grips by now. He ordered 4 pairs this time and these CVC Gunfighters were for a new BBQ gun he is working on. He actually has another pair of CVC Gunfighter style grips that I made so he does like them. He also had me fit another pair of walnut grips to this same gun so he could switch between the two sets of grips.

When I first made a pair of CVC (custom valley cut) grips, what I started out to do was to make that valley cut on a left grip for a right handed shooter. I made the cut for the two middle fingers to fit into.

Then I held the gun in my left hand and it felt kind of neat the way my palm fit into the valley, so I cut the valley in the right hand grip also. These have a very unique feel to them. They are also book matched.

I am a custom grip maker. Look at my signature line. To be clear, yes I made them.

Those grips are right up my alley. I like the valleys being cut into them. I guess I have to buy a gun that I can make pretty. I never thought of many grips for one gun - wardrobe grips. Cary, do you need the gun that's going to wear them?

Ruger grip frames are very consistent, so my stock grips fit very well. I fit each set of grips to a Ruger grip frame and have not had a set returned because of a bad fit.

When someone is ordering a custom set of grips made, I will fit them to the customers grip frame at no charge if they are willing to send me the frame.
