Here's my Montado wearing a new set of sack peterson's Elk panels. I really like them.

:lol: Yeah John, they were only $90 shipped. He said that the material wasn't the best, so he'd sell them for less. I think the material is great. They are a little thicker than original panels too and fill my hand a little better. Makes for an easier, smoother draw and should help with recoil a bit.

They have just the right amount of pattern...stag gets too busy for my taste...and the white shows off that finish....all you need now is another one just like it and a white hat..

Been busy, & just now got to see the new grips !! They suit that gun to a "T". I'll be darned if I think the material lacks anything ! They look great to Me !!

Now that we've established that you've got the perfect grips for that gun....how do you care for them? Seems oil and powder might discolor them...even hand sweat...do you seal them? Do you just let it happen?? Never had bone or horn grips on anything...I'm too low to the ground for such hi-class things....
