I finished modyfying my .45's Sunday night. I reamed the cylinders throats to .4525 for my vaquero .45colt and accusport bisley .45acp/colt. I also changed the forcing cone to 11 degrees. Now I am waiting on my bullet order from Penn Bullets to get here so I can do some accuracy testing. The vaquero could stand the most improvement. Both will hopefully lead less. I had already stoned the trigger/hammer engagement surfaces and eliminated the creep and gritty trigger movement. The trigger return spring has been modified for a much lighter trigger pull and the pawl was modified for a free spin.

The only thing left for the vaquero is to pick a really accurate lead bullet load and regulate the fixed sights for POI. Also, I have to order some fancy wood grips, like Bountyhunter's. I think I am done with the bisley.

Sounds like you made yourself a great gun with the Vaquero. I'm sure the Bisley is great too. You have to check out Magnum's grips in the classifieds. There are some very nice ones there. :)
