I've been using this off and on since the early 90's. A barrel may look clean but you would be surprised at how much lead this system will remove from a clean barrel. Anyone else out there use one of these? Just curious.

Is the barrel plugged on the bottom, and filled with fluid?

My Marlin 336C/35Rem started shooting real bad, despite cleaning the barrel. I stayed after it figuring it must be copper fouled, and eventually I got out the copper. She went back to shooting fine. Would your equipment take care of the copper too?

My hand guns get fired on the combat range..21 ft.
Accuracy is about the same with or without the Outers Foul Out.
The barrel is plugged at the bottom and the solution is either lead out or cop out.
There are recipes out there for either lead or copper removal. You can find them on the Net. I don't believe Outers make the Foul Out system anymore.
