I just ordered it. I got the 3.5" version in a right hand cross draw. Looks like it'll do what I need it to.

Neat...first one I've seen offered in 3.5"....must be other guns that length...slim and trim....

There are quite a few companies out there right now making short 3.5" barreled models. USFA, Uberti, Cimmaron, Colt, and Ruger to name a few.

I didn't know about Ruger making any that short...but they'd be great...the cowboy gun companies I don't know about...and I thought Colt was out of the retail business...learn something new once in awhile!!!

Well the Montado is the only Ruger right now. The OM Vaqueros were released as birds heads. Berretta also makes a short birds head.

I guess the Italian cowboys who watched Clint Eastwood in the Italian Westerns had to have some cowboy guns...their prices are a bit steeeeeeep!!!!

It'll b e shipped UPS on Monday so it'll probably be Friday or Saturday before I see it. The USPS is much faster. :|

It's 3-7 days here. I might get something from California in 3 and then something coming from the Florida will take a week. Never know with them. :|

I do know what you mean but I thought it was the company I bought from that took so long. Have found that USPS Priority to be just as fast.
