Whenever I buy a new gun I always clean it. I bought a 22/45 several years ago and broke it down, scratched my head a lot, and cleaned it. Got it together ok and I learned a few tricks when I did it. Even helped a friend with his. Haven't broke it down in years so probably forgot it all and don't feel like trying to learn it all over again. Was thinking of trading it myself as my single six is all I need in a 22 handgun. As I get older the more something is a pain in the ass the less appealing it is too me.
