I have heard people cuss the MK2 for years because it is supposed to be hard to get back together. I swear, I seldom have any trouble, and if you do, it is always the hammer strut. THe trick is to make sure the hammer is cocked when you put the barrel assembly on, then to pull the trigger and let the hammer and strut go forward to put the mainspring housing in. As you swing the housing in, then you angle the strut toward the housing. I can take one apart and put it back together in just a few minutes. But, I have owned one or another for over 25 years now too.
