Got my SR9 back!

I'm working from home today, luckily, because the doorbell rang, the dogs went nuts and I saw the UPS truck outside.

I go outside and there's no other way to say this, the UPS girl was hot. Super hot. Cute lil' shorts on, shirt unbuttoned at least one extra button, big smile.

I sign her little remote thingy (no, that's not a euphemism for something else) and brought my package inside (neither is that).

Sure enough it's my SR9. Clean as a whistle, new magazine, an SR9 hat and a cool sticker for my car.

Say what you will about this gun - and admittedly I still need to shoot it with the new trigger assembly - but this thing just feels great in my hand. The weight, the balance, the slimness, it just plain fits. I know you all have guns that feel that way, maybe I'm the only one that feels that way about the SR9.

Anyway, I'll take it to the range Friday and post a report of course. But I haven't shot it in a long time, and I miss it. Looking forward to getting to shoot it again.

I'm also trying to figure out something else I can order that gets delivered via UPS!

Hey if they didn't, I'll just call UPS and tell them to send it back, and I'll KEEP sending it back until they get it right!! :D :D
Don't blame you, I would too....but my guess is that Ruger got it right....they usually do...... :D

Well I'll have to find a different excuse to recall my UPS girl then. ;)

Evidently the changes to the trigger assembly resulted in a shorter trigger pull. I loved it before, I look forward to trying it now.

I think he's talking about getting the little Brown girl back.

Did that have an old meaning??

I better post some SR9 info soon, I have a feeling this is exactly the kind of 'tangent' Bountyhunter was talking about... :?
In reporting completely your immense sense of satisfaction in the return of your pistol, I fail to see how you could have left out any of the details that might have given you a measure of that satisfaction without compromising the integrity of your post...
Hey that's good news! I'm looking forward to a range report. I've fondled the SR9 once and really liked it. It has a great feel and balance to it. I ended up buying an XD, but it was my second choice. I still may own one in the future. :)
I would be interested to see how the fix works out. Gun Blast reviewed and was pleased with the changes so another view would be good to hear.

Excellent point. I should have taken pictures of the whole thing to document the entire story. The dogs barking, the UPS girl, the UPS girl posing with my package... (oh I'm treading dangerous water here), the unwrapped SR9, a closeup of the trigger, etc., etc.

I can also attest that the Ruger sticker looks excellent on my FJ Cruiser!
