I think that's the term. It's the version that doesn't have the full length lug like my 6" does. I found a used one for $395. I'm thinking about picking it up. The thing is there is also a 6" full lug just like mine for $425. I think I'll play with them both and maybe I'll be posting pics later of my new gun.

the last short shroud i saw was a blue 4" fixed sight. Don't see them very often around here..

It's the first one I've seen around here. It's SS 4". I don't like it. I skipped the 6" too. I'm going to look for a 4" used GP100.

i seen a while back a 6 in half shroud. Looks just like my security six, but they wanted twice as much as what i paid for my security six.......so it stayed.

The 4" feels great. It has a great balance and the rounded grips are nice. The gun is a little beat up though. I think I like the full lug better.

i agree the full lug just plain looks better..
