Psychological evaluation of owner, spouse, family members, associates, even ex-spouses. Extreme red flag.

Insurance ? Revenue building gimmick, would stop many would-be firearms owners who just can't afford it.

This is just a, "Hey, let's do everything we can to screw gun owners over bill..." No mention of any effect on the criminals who ignore gun laws. Outrageous sentences and fines if they actually ever got caught.

I don't think this will have any chance of passing, BUT, the idea that such un-American policy can be written and proposed is a bit frightening. Why isn't Shelia Jackson Lee being arrested for going against her oath to uphold the Constitution. When are our elected officials going to fight back. Treasonist.

Doing something outrageous gets her name and face in all the media. Doesn't matter that it's an extremely stupid and ill-informed bill. Makes her the darling of the anti-guns.

This weekend, in a snowstorm, Chicago had 23 shootings, with four dead. Yep, their tough gun laws work as good as ever.
