I would have bet money on not owning 1 browning and....SURPRISE SURPRISE SURPRISE...I forgot about this gun ...I had a friend carry me to his truck ant take me to W.V. when i was about dead with a crust rib cage 10 days before and 1 day out of the hospital.

I made it in the house and paid the guy.But it was so hot in there i got sick and threw up all over the guys porch.

Then when i got home i put WD 40 on it and the gold inlay came off.

I went back a week later and got a contender with a 44 mag 14" barrel and 1 other i cant remember,A 22 i think..

And a Leapold scope.

Its a browning 12g Invector BPS Special M20.5

With a Invector slug choke. I have other chokes some where for it

I like the BPS.............sort of reminds me of the Ithaca with the bottom ejection.

Never in my life have i been forced to hunt deer under State regs as a shotgun only thing. For the longest, when i read about new bolt action shotguns and scopes for shotguns when younger i kept thinking why would anyone deliberately choose a shotgun over a rifle for deer hunting.

As i've slowly aged i realized decades back that not all States are equal and some folks must hunt only with shotguns as by law and not by choice.
