My new to me Redhawk 5.5" SS 45 Colt. I hate the grips. They are way to wide for my hand. I'll be putting a set of originals on as soon as I get my hands on a pair. So if anyone has a set they want to get rid of please let me know. We can even swap if you'd like. :)

Beautiful !!
You done Good !! Can't say about the grips, as I don't like the factory panels either. Depending upon Your hand size, & hold, with the factory panels they are a knuckle buster for Me. My hand rides too far up behind the trigger guard. With the factory panels, it should have a "filler", something like the Tyler "T" grip.
I've become used to the Hogues on My S&W's, so I could probably handle those OK. Take it out & shoot it, & if You don't like it, send it to Me, & I'll see that it is properly disposed of !!

You know We'll expect a range report, real soon. ??

OH, . . . by the way, I have a nice set of factory panels here somewhere. If You want them I'll look them up !

Thanks guys! If I can find a load for it I'll be fine. I bought a box of 50 cowboy loads in case I get to the range this weekend. I don't think I'll be loading my own for a bit.

Jim I'd love to have those factory panels if you can find them! Shoot me a PM and we'll work it out. :D

Thanks guys! :D

Gunman the grips on the Redhawk suck bad. They don't fit my hand at all. The stock ones fit great. I really like the feel of the panels.

Thanks Drummer. I'm going to find myself a cowboy style holster and belt for it too. I'd like to think that if Wild Bill was around today he'd own one just like it. :)

He sure would...crossdraw...showoff grips...Hogues just don't cut it on a cowboy gun...if those old-timers'd had a DA and speedloaders, you coulda written the tamin' of the West in far less chapters!!! Heck, John Wayne movies woulda only been 30 mins. each...that woulda been a bummer....is there a way to shoot .45 ACP in the Redhawk? That'd cut down on ammo costs a bit.....maybe moon clips would fit...
