Picked up a Bushmaster Basic Patrol Carbine (16 inch barrel, A2 carry handle) about a month ago and have since began its transformation into a pseudo Israeli carbine.
Since I brought it home I've added a milspec buffer tube and an XM-177 style collapsible stock, an A1 pistol grip, and an Israeli IDF Golan Heights Brigade sling.
This morning I ordered a Meprolight M21 reflex sight with carry handle mount.
The Meprolight should be here next week sometime, I'll post pictures of progress so far over the weekend

after the original sling mounting laces were added, I dont know what material they used, but it was the stiffest boot lace like stuff I have ever tried to use, I went with 550 cord for the final mounting

I took these today, since the first range outing, I added a POF drop in trigger and a proper castle nut to the buffer tube. By proper I mean one that I could stake in position once it was torqued.

I also had to cover most of the fiber optic to tone down the aiming triangle, in bright sun it painful to look at it was so bright

The easiest to shoot so far is this one, if you can get the triangle on it, its DEAD....the Meprolight is meant for one thing, and one thing only, stacking bodies......
