I had my Redhawks out last night cleaning them up. So I decided to check my cylinder throats. Yes I know my methods may not be anal enough for some but I first measured them with calipers. Then I pushed a .429dia lead bullet & a .430dia plated bullet thru the cylinders with little or no resistance (the lead bullet falls out by its self on most holes). I'm going to check my Blackhawks tonight.
My 7 1/2" RH was a pawn shop find so it could have been reamed, but my 4" was new when I bought it. Am I just lucky?
