I did a search and did not fine anything. I want to reload 45 colt for a lever gun. My local gun store has 8 packs of Large Pistol Magnum #350. I know the reload data states Large pistol #300. I cannot find Large Pistol primers anywhere. A friend told me to use starting load of powder and test. The only thing I have found is the primer pressure has a tendency to move the bullet before full ignition in certain calibers with some powders.
Any thought on this.

The mag primer will increase the pressure so start low (starting load) and work up. This seems to be a somewhat common thread theme these days with the Biden shortages of everything. If you are having bullet movement then tighten your roll crimp. That will generate more pressure as well so watch for overpressure signs like sticking (hard extraction) empty cases or flat primers.
