I took the LCP out today as well as the 1911. The LCP performed flawlessly. I put about 30 rounds thru it and no FTF's or FTE's. The trigger is better than the P3AT. It's no more accurate though. At least it wasn't for me. I shot it at 5-7 yards. I shot some slow and shot some very fast. The little gun impressed me and I feel that I could trust it in a tight situation.

My girlfriend did very well with it at 5-7 yds as well. Actually she shot a little better than I did. :mrgreen:

I think that may be in my future as well. I just am waiting until extra magazines become available.

John, Ruger offers extra magazines at $25 a piece. The LCP might be a good gun for your wife too.

I checked the web site just the other day, and it said that they were not available.

Even the ruger rep that was in town at my LGS said they weren't selling seperate mags yet...

But if they are, that is one to look at.

i've taken some advice to heart when it comes to new guns, and that is don't buy the 1st year's model as gun makers will be making changes as the complaints roll in........

The itch for the lcp is great, resistance may be futile, but considering the sr9 debacle going on, i think i'll wait.
