OK, lets try this out!

I checked out Big Loop leavers for the Marlin Guide Gun. Wild West and Brockman's $179 & $149 respectfully, are quite expensive. Brownells and OEM Marlin I believe were around $75. Now, Wild West noted theirs was "Heavy Duty" Alaska Grade! Some listings noted "may require some fitting". Too me, they look quite simple, what "fitting" would be required?

I can't speak for what fitting they might need, but it would make me want just to buy the OEM Marlin part.
Others might know better.

I wonder if a bit of filing might need to be done to achieve smooth action?
That is my thought. OEM lists the lever for a straight stock which the 1895G is and' as I am not planning an African or even an Alaskan hunt, I can't see spending double for the name, heavier or not. To be honest, I like the straight stock mush better than the pistol grip stock and even the stock lever feels better to me. lever
