I just bought 500 155gr 40 S&W Remington JHP bullets for $84.99 plus some shipping. Didn't that was too bad. It looked the the Ranier plated Bullets were real cheap but I didn't bother getting any.

I bet a year or so ago you could have got it for half that. I can't believe how much components have went up. They dang sure have kept pace with the gas! I used to buy 125 grain JHP Remingtons 500 for $25-$29 at Midway, now they are almost $50! Used to buy 500 .45 ACP 230 grain bullets for less than $50, now they are almost $90! All the rest of the calibers I load for are the same story. I need to find a cheaper hobby!

I got into it late and the prices were already up so I thought that things were priced good. Things are going up still though so now I see how you all feel. It's ok because soon enough it will all be illegal contraband anyway.
