Because I just love showing this off, and I'm SO impressed with my Ebay score on the holster and speed loader case...I figured I had to take a couple of pictures.

You revolver duty guys knew your stuff (Sheepdog, and Deputy) this thing fits glove, seems to be good quality, and holds the gun very secure, I impressed.

I'm happy for you John but I have to tell you, I was so impressed with the speed loader. Never heard of one nor have I seen one before. So, did the knife come with it too? What's the deal with the knife anyway? I noticed my brother has a knife to match each gun. Are the knives used or is it merely a collectible thing with guys? Is it simply cool to have a matching knife and that's the reason?

Natalie I just put that knife in there to dress up the picture. :D They make speedloaders for SP-101 too, you should get a couple and practice loading with them, they make reloads much faster, and are very easy to throw in your purse or pocket to go along with your gun.

That knife is an OLD Stroma (brand name) with a cherry handle (knife guys call them scales). My grandfather gave it to me when he passed away. I would never carry it for protection because it has no lock open. The knife will close or open with equal pressure.

I do carry a knife ALL the time though, it's a K-Bar TDI with a 3" blade, it looks kind of like this..

I only have one knife that matches a gun, the others are just because I could. ;)

It's 'cause they're too lazy to carry enough reloads....

Well, what do I know. They looked like they went together to me and one looked downright wicked. I've walked into the men only zone on this forum and since I'm not a guy, I ask lots of questions. Some of those questions probably seem rather duh in nature but really I'm cool.

Natalie...you ask whatever you want...you will never find a better group of people that are more than willing to answer any question than shooters. We've figured out that being nice to new shooters is the only way the old shooters will be able to keep things going smoothly.

Sheepdog, I really like that knife, I have the one with no serations, but I couln't find a picture of it. I don't pull it out for cutting every day stuff to often. :D I also carry a little gerber that uses replacable razor knife blades and I use that for hacking through stuff. If you get one, the steel belt clip that you can get as an add on is really handy. I clip it inside my left pants pocket, and if any one tries to get my CCW away from me, they are going to get one heck of a surprise. That knife comes up in to your hand faster than any folder.
