The last few weeks, it seems Norton catches bad actions more than usual. It just shut my computer down due to an attempted unauthorized network connection. A few days ago it was a Trojan program. Another shut down. Two issues last week; one just did a warning window, the other was a shut down. Some bad stuff must be getting worse; in the past Norton rarely did a shut down, it would just take me offline. You guys be careful.

I've had two more shutdowns since other post, more unauthorized connection. I really like my Norton. My VPN is kinda neat. For a few days last week it told my ISP and tracking sites that I was in Columbus Ohio. Today I think it's Denver. I can tell by the news stories on the MSN home page, and retail sites that estimate shipping by a zip code already filled in. Always wrong..........I can even pick another country as my location. You pick your country, and Norton picks the city at random.
