I picked up the 22A this morning. Field strips in about 20 seconds.... , and goes back just as easy....the mag releas is on the front of the grip, so that will take some getting used to, but no problem there....this sucker is heavy...weighs 39oz as opposed to the 29oz of the 22/45....this barrel is huge.....can't wait to shot it.....

39 oz? That's more than my 3" Model 65 .357....it oughta balance and shoot real well!!! Not like a toy but like a real gun....shootitquick!!!!

as a lefty, i really appreciate the location of the mag release..........

never shot the "bull" barrel model 22a.......looks like it ought to get the job done.....

I think it is going to shoot better than the 22/45...but, it is definately heavy....I've been handling it this afternoon a lot, and the mag release isn't going to be hard to get used to. The gun points really nice.....

Seriously, it was stormin' at the range....had to work today...our steel plate match for tomorrow afternoon has been cancelled because of a funeral (range is nextdoor to a church), so Monday will be the earliest I can shoot it....and I have to work Monday until about noon.....
