I have owned 2 of the 7.5 inchers, and believe me, unless you plan on using it exclusively for hunting, it is too much gun. Heck, after about 20 rounds you can't hold the dern thing steady, it is so heavy. I never had a 5.5 inch one, but it looks like a nice gun too. The 4 inch is no harder to hold steady than my GP100.
