Did Ruger make a 5.5" barreled OM Vaquero in 45 Colt? I'm finding lots in 4-5/8ths, but not in 5.5". :|

I'm thinking about picking up a blued 5.5" version if I can find one.

Yep, they made a bunch. I think the 4 5/8" barrelled are the most common though. Mine has the 4 5/8" barrel. I do prefer the 5 1/2" length. Either way, they are great guns. Hope you find one you like.

I once held a 4 5'8" Hi-Gloss SS in .44 Mag.---the balance was so even....it was a Bisley and fit my hand like it'd been made for it....I've never seen another....first SA that really appealed to me....I guess as close to a .44 Spl as will ever be made again...don't like the new Vaqueros or the Montados nearly as much.....
