Companies like MidwayUSA and Cabelas are good for those that just are too many miles from a good supplier. But you can check these deals I got where the items were not on sale but the normal shelf price.

I just picked up my F1 Chrony at Sportsman's Warehouse for $99.00 the other day down in Missoula, Mt while I was down there.

Also just picked up my Franklin 750 grain digi scale for $31.99 and a new 1 pound of H110 powder for $16.99 along with some CCI #300 LPP for $2.49 a 100 which is far cheaper than what our other stores are charging.

I have a Sportsmans Whse. in San Antonio that I go to for most of my reloading supplies. Theres also a Cabelas in Buda, Tx that I go to sometimes. But now I only go to them if I'm going by there on my way somewhere else. I do order online if I need something & would have to make special trip. Shipping is now cheaper than gas to drive 70-100mi. round trip.

If I had been just going to Sportsman's Warehouse it would have been 240 miles round trip, but because I had been sent to see a doctor for my shoulder and the sendies are paying for it, I figure they more than covered my gas

I prolly could have ordered my Chrony F1 from our local Sportsman's Ski Haus in Kalispell, but I figured since I was down there I would make the best of it too

I know what ya mean JB! I try to do all the shopping I can while I'm in town. Most of the stuff I order off the web is stuff I can't get local or need sooner than I'm going to be in the area to get it. I do occasionally find deals on the web that make it worth paying shipping but they are few & far between.

I've talked about this a lot of times....I just wish some of the gun shops around here would sell reloading components....nearest one is about 130 miles round trip. All they want to sell around here is guns and a little bit of ammo....although, I did go to one shop today that caters to LEOs, and they had about 20 different flashlights....mostly Surefire....

That really is too bad, you have to rely on Midway, Mid-South, Bass Pro, and Cabelas for your componants, and then get your order up enough so you don't have to pay shipping.

I have a Cabelas and Bass Pro visa's that give points with every purchase. I save up the points and use them to buy stuff. I run everything through a credit card and pay the balance off monthly so there is no effective cost and actually is a cash flow benefit by delaying payment for a couple weeks to a month. Just an old beancounters prespective.

We're supposed to be getting a Cabela's about 10 miles south of me. I hope so, they have some good deals. If I don't have to add shipping to what I need I can probably do pretty good thru them.
