I took my brand new Sig Sauer P250 9mm to the range today. Overall I was quite pleased. I shot 200 rounds of the Remington UMC 115gr FMJ with only one Fail to Feed (FTF) which was around round 25. Jam was easy to clear. Accuracy started off fair but improved as more rounds were fed through it. Grouping was down and slightly to the right of the Point of Aim. I may just need a higher rear sight or different ammo, will see. Some of the accuracy problems is the operator. I tried some Buffalo Bore 115Gr +P+ and this is NOT the ammo for this gun. I shot three rounds, and while accuracy was good, it FTF every time. I think the round is just to hot for the gun. My SR-9 will shoot these with no problem.
I bought this gun for CCW. For size it is the same as my current primary CCW, 2 1/4" barrel Ruger SP-101 .357 Mag. I just need to find some different ammo in 9mm for CCW. One FTF in 200 rounds I think is pretty good and there are no reliability issues in my mind that would prevent me from using it for CCW. All of you who carry a 9mm let me know what ammo you use. I was on Midways web site and saw Black Hills Ammo had a 115 gr EXP (Extra Power) that got good reviews and may be a possibility.
My overall opinion of this gun is that it is a keeper.
