I'm taking a poll on wether to shine up my old redding powder scale or leave the patina. It has a brass beam that would shine like new Money if I cleaned it up. :?

Voted no. I have an old Herters scale, I use all the time, I wouldn't polish it up. I think as long as it works, it adds character !
