I thought this was a joke, you know about some disgruntled employee going
postal and shooting up his previous place of employment.

Heck sheepdog has his own special way of using bubble gum even, he has been constantly reminded not to swallow his gum.

Ok Here's what I got so far:
Here's yer Target:

The RULES:

The categories will be:
1. Small pistol. Calibers .17-.38sp. at 10yds. & 25yds.
2. Medium pistol. Calibers .357mag-.40cal. (9mm etc. goes here.) 10&25yds.
3. Big Bore. Calibers .41Mag-.500bigboys. 10&25yds.
4. Cowboy shootout. Calibers anything available in the 19th century, S.A. Revolvers only! 10&25yds.
5. Last Man Standing 1911 Shootout. .45acp ONLY (no .38auto/.22 conversion Bullshit!) 10&25yds.
So there will be two awards (probably just bragg'n rights) in each category & an overall TOP GUNNER prize. I'm donating a carry holster to the Top Gunners Prize Bag Of Cheesy Shit! So if you have any white elephant type shit laying around making you think WTF am I going to do with that! Well mail it in with your target. I'll keep a running post of whats in the prize bag.

Deadeye, we only have an indoor range which goes to 50'.
I have nowhere to shoot outside. Well, I could, but we live in a
townhouse and the lady next door would complain, I'm sure.
Can I still enter for fun?

You could still enter the 10yd. category! Remember the overall winner will be the one with highest points. When I score a target I'll add up points then measure the dia. of the group subtract it from 7.3" (dia. of outer ring). So If you score let say 19pts. on the rings & your group is 2.8" subtracted from 7.3" = 4.5. Your score would be 19+4.5=23.5. then I'll add up all your target scores divided by # of targets = overall percentage. Highest overall percentage wins Top gunner. I'll probably require 5 target minimum (only one target per category/distance)
to be in running for Top Gunner. If you want to send in multipule targets for same catigory thats fine but only the best target will be entered.

I think that will work out but I'm still open for suggestions!

I'm mouthing dbsoundguys words: color me dumb. The word 'postal' threw me and I really did think it was a gang war on the post office so I thought it a joke. It's real, a good idea and good luck to you all. Sorry Deadeye. I need to slow down and let my little brain catch up. I was exposing a little blonde there.

I did like Montanan's picture of Sheepdog.

I'm in. Like to see how I stack up, and if I stand a chance of being a serious contender at 'official' events.

I will likely shoot:
10/22
AR
OM BH .357
Something .45, not sure which

You guys have been at this longer than I have been alive, I need to even the odds somehow. Maybe flooding the mailbox will work.
