Just bought some primers. They are now $25 per 1000 at the shop I always buy at. Seen some the other day at Knob Creek that were $29 per 1000. It is getting ridiculous. It does not seem that long ago I was buying them for $10 at the gun shows. Between the cost of lead bullets and the cost of primers, I am gonna have to come up with a less expensive hobby, or shoot nothing but .22s. I know I have shot much more .22s here lately than I have in a loooong time. Actually, it is kinda nice to be able to shoot and not worry about the dang brass (shooting .22s).

well, the bright side is the primers are about the cheapest componet we use, the bad news is, i can still afford to buy primers but the dang bullet prices are about to put me out of the loop!!!
If i knew 1o years ago what prices would be like today, i might had stocked up considerably----oh well, .22's are still more or less afforadable......................
