I've not spent much time out west, but got to go for work a couple times. This is Pyramid Lake in Nevada. I didn't get to fish it though! One weird thing is, with no trees to speak of, distance was really bizarre. Like you'd look out and think yeah, I could row or paddle across there easily, probably a half mile or so. Then you look on a map and see it's like six miles or something!

That's an amazing picture Eddie! That's one thing I like about out west, many gorgeous views with very few people in a lot of places. :)

This photo was taken just a hundred yards or so from the road. But it's much farther away from the lake than it looks!

Great landscape. I have always thought trees were highly overrated.

Nevada offers so much that some people never see because they can't leave Las Vegas. $$$$$$$$$ You too are very talented with a camera.
