In the various cowboy action games with the sxs shotgun, what is leading the pack as far as use and reputation for strength and trouble free?
I know of the stoeger stagecoach
remington spartan double trigger
remington spartan single trigger

from what i gather, these are the 3 most popular in the game due to price and availability.

are any of these being used amongst the masses gainin' a reputation as best of the breed?
Any reported problems with odd-ball patterns/barrel regulation?
parts breakage?
durability?
shootin' loose?

any customer service problems you heard about?
I'm pickin' on snuffy a bit as he's in the sport.........

Exactly. I didn't dare pick it up. I was already spending about $250 there that day. :shock:

Storger is the best, ya see them all. Ya can't win a match with a shotgun but sure loose one with a shotgun. Best all around is the Storger. The 97 orginal's breakage gets them, the reproduction ones flowing. Also the 97's can cut you deep in the web between the thumb and index finger seen it happen. The shooting was over for that cowboy too. The 87 good luck finding 21/2 inche shells for them.
Russins do ok but just ok, single trighers have a habit of either lettin both barrel's go or won't set up for ther second barrel.
For me Storger.
