Are there any differences between the 5.5" Redhawk that I own and the new 4" Redhawks? Is it just the barrel length? Can the wood panels be used on the new ones?
I've posted several pics & talked about it in several threads around here. Where have you been? :roll:Bountyhunter said:Thanks, guys. I didn't know you had the 4" RH, Deadeye. How do you like it? How does it shoot? I'd like to put a 4" barrel on my 45 Colt. I don't know if Ruger will do it or not. They are so anal sometimes.
No they fit right on no mods necessary. The hogues are a little tricky to get off, you have to use the little wedge tool that comes with the gun. But once you get them off the wood grip panels slap right on.Bountyhunter said:Well I like it. Was the grip panel swap easy or did you have to do anything to make them fit?
.44 Mags.Terry_P said:The 4" in 44 mag go fast. I sold a bunch of stuff I had around and had the cash raised and used it to pay bills when things got tight this summer. I need another stimulus check and if not next spring it's happening. They wholesale for $548 plus shipping so figure $575 as the wholesale price.
When I get it that will be my 4" 44 Special as well.

Do you stoke it with 44 Mag's for the nightstand or 44 Spl?
