I've been concentrating so much on my pistol shooting for the last several months, and also on shotgun shooting and having a lot of fun with that, I've been neglecting my rifles!

I was telling Sheepdog about how I think my next long gun will be a Henry .22 lever gun with the octagonal barrel. But I think I might find some time today to get to the range and shoot my Model 94. I've got a couple boxes of 30-30, that's not much at 20 rounds per box. But this gun is so much fun I kind of savor each shot.

I don't own any shot guns or rifles at the moment. I too would like to have a lever action Henry in .22. I think that would be a great little gun. The price though will probably push me toward the 10/22 for my first .22 rifle. :)

I have a Henry H001 with the round barrel. Great little rifle that everyone one enjoys shooting and a perfect playmate for Single Sixes.

Have 1600 rounds of various calibers in the car and loading the Rugers and Marlins then heading up to Black Cayon City (AZ) to shoot it up with my son and grandkids in the desert.

Already 62 here at 0800 so looks like a good day.

I also have the Henry H001...fantastic little rifle. I really want the octagonal barrel, but, I got the gun for a rimfire version of CAS that our local club holds, and the extra weight for the octagon was too much for quick shooting....for me, anyway.....

Getting ready to leave Texas and head to the cold north. I loaded and shot about 2,000 rounds of 12 ga shotshell down here as we shoot skeet in the RV park 3 times a week. Once I get back will get the rifles and handguns out. I need to work up a load for hog hunting down here next winter and see if I can still hit anything with a 357 mag or other caliber.
