Made it to the range today, with my 10/22. This rifle with the Tapco stock, and 25 rnd magazine, is just plain fun to shoot. I dialed the scope in at 50 yards, today, just for playtime. I have never enjoyed shooting the 10/22 as much as I did today. The stock worked perfectly, and nothing worked loose. The extended mag release, I installed, is a feature that should come on these guns from the factory...it makes magazine removal a lot easier. I didn't know how I would like the front vertical grip, but I really do like it (you should try it, BH, I think you'll like it).....Don't know what else I can add, except to say that I put 300 rounds downrange with it.....had a lot of fun.....
There was a guy and his son at the range today, and he was totally impressed with the Tapco stock. Said he had be thinking about getting one for his 10/22. I let him shoot mine, and he really liked it....I think the boy liked it even more.....
BTW: sheepdog, you were right....this would be a nice little house gun.....
