Would like to hear from owners of the M908. Just purchased one last month and have put 1600 rounds through it and it is a great machine. Would appreciate pictures also. Would like to hear positive and negative comments.

don't own one but have shot one before. Its the economy version of the 3913 and strikes me as a fine weapon. Think in terms of comparing the remington 870 express to the wingmaster----still the same gun and still functionable and reliable.

I appreciate the light weight and bobbed hammer. Wished the safety was ambi.

rp, you said a mouthful, there...I would buy a Smith new...otherwise, I'm in the used market....this new 908S is one of about thirty 9s they've come up with...some fancy and some not...but Smiths shoot...priced high, but they shoot....not just what I wanted , but they shoot...and are just finicky enough I don't want a used semiauto that someone's messed with...out of the box I trust it...

Is this one SA, DA, OR DAO? Hicap or straight stack? Haven't seen one....

Sheepdog, the 908 is a DA/SA single stack. I have a 3914 and a 669.
I love those S&W compact 9's. They're awesome little shooters. And great size for carry.
