The thunderstoms dried up, and gave me a chance to take the P226 to the range..... I shot 40 rnds of American Eagle 115gr FMJ, 40 rnds of 125gr LRN, and 40 rnds of 115gr LCNFP, to get used to the gun. Everything fed without a problem, and I experienced no extraction problems. I then put up a new target, and loaded 20 rnds of 125gr LRN...set my target at 15 yds, and here are the results: this gun is a keeper.....
(BTW: the two low shots at 6:30 were dumb shots...I knew they were way off when I fired.....)

That's some fine shootin! You get used to that trigger with a thousand rounds or so, I bet that gun is capable of making one ragged hole!

John, the other P226 I had was just the cat's meow. I'm sure that gun was capable of 1 ragged hole, and I do believe this one is too....but I'm not so sure I'm capable of it.....
