All you need now is a white horse, a hat, a mask, and a faithful Indian friend.....
(updated, of course for .45acp).....

A fiery horse with the speed of light, a cloud of dust and a hearty "Hi Yo Silver!" The Lone Ranger. "Hi Yo Silver, away!" With his faithful Indian companion Tonto, the daring and resourceful masked rider of the plains, led the fight for law and order in the early west. Return with us now to those thrilling days of yesteryear. The Lone Ranger rides again!

Do those feed all right with the bullet seated like that?? I had some lead 200 gr cast roundnose and that was how I seated them and my 1911 would have at least one to two feed failures per mag. I then seated even with the top of the edge and they worked fine. I put a lot of money into that 1911 to get it to operate with most any load but it did not like that set up.

I'm not sure I'll let you know. They are 1.270-1.275 OAL, if they don't feed well I'll just keep them for my revolver. I have a S&W M1917 that I shoot more than my 1911s anyway. I love reloading with those full moon clips, then I can pretend that I'm Jerry Michalec (?spelling). :p :p :p

P.S. What was your OAL when you seated them down to the edge?

Just seat them even with the top edge of the shoulder on the bullet if they do and I'm guessing they will work just fine. They may work just fine as mine are 200 gr and the shoulder may be more pronounced than on the heavier bullet. The revolver may actually like them longer who knows.

Very nice. I've got some 45acp and 38spl loaded up in nickle cases that look like that.
