I was just told by Ruger that there is a 2 to 3 week delay in getting shipping info out to people who have signed up for the recall.

So it was supposed to be mid-May, now it's looking like early June.

i'll be thefirst to admitt it, i'm sort of a ruger nut and i was one of those who just could not wait for the sr9 to appear because of my loyality to ruger-------needless to say i'm sure glad i was poor and did not immediately jump.

now perhaps after this recall the gun will live up to all its possibilities..............

Looks like a good trigger. I took the SR9 off my 'want list' after I got my XD9's.

I'm crazy about the XD---in .45, of course, but my faces(which Wiz has none of) are for the new creation.....

I really like my SR9 but I STILL have not received my stuff to ship it back to them, and I responded to the recall on the FIRST DAY.

there was so much hype, mystery, and buzz about the "mystery gun", that it probably set a record for first day orders................

one heck of a good marketin' stragedy they had there.................

I was really excited about the SR9 and the Sig P250.....don't have either, and really they are not even on my short list, anymore......

I would like to get an XD9 or XD45.....or maybe one of each..... :lol: :lol:

Until I shoot the "New" SR9 with the new trigger, I can not make comment on it, other than it is Glockish which doesn't bother me a bit. I do like the looks and the sights better, but have yet to hold one to see how it feels in my hands. I also like the P345 as well since it is offered in .45 acp.

My gf has both. I gave her my 45 for her birthday because she really wanted one. Now she has both and they are great guns. You really can't go wrong with either one.
