You know, my wife actually has given me permission to buy a new gun Friday. But I am seriously considering buying a bunch of bullets, primers, and powder instead. As much as I would like a new gun, I really don't need one as much as I need the ammo. I keep thinking it would be far easier for the government to ban ammo than guns, which would have the same affect eventually.

I know the feeling.....the money I spent on components today, was going to bring home an AK-47 this afternoon, but when my wife came home for lunch she asked how many rounds I could make with what I have on hand, and then told me to order more.....sometimes...ok, most of the time, she has more common sense than I do.....

Glad you're blessed to have a wife who understands A) We have a problem, and, B) It'll be up to us to fix it, locally speaking.......mine understands neither....

In the lasst 2 weeks I have got 500 300gr 45/70s, 500 405gr 45/70s, 1000 115gr .38s, 1000 100gr .32 H&Rs and 1000 9mm, all lead. Also got some Hornady .32 and .38 XTPs in 115 and 125.

Obama is already on record voting to ban most hunting ammo. Just some of his sensible gun laws.

I ordered another Lee Turret Press yesterday. I'm going to build a new bench large enough for 2 presses....that way, my wife and I can both reload.....

I load a lot more than I shoot, so I always have plenty loaded up and ready to go.

Like I've said before, my goal is to maintain 10,000 rds in each caliber....9mm, .38sp, and 45acp.....

I set out to have 2000 of 357, 45 Colt, and 45 acp, but I stalled a bit. :?

I've got approx 3,000 9mm, 3,500 .38 sp., and I am going to start my .45's after I make a range trip for my test loads.....hopefully tomorrow morning.....

I have about 1100 Colts, 2000 acps and about 1000 357s. It's a good start I guess.
