Only the revolvers are clean, I just got back from the range with the others. But I think they all look nice together!

Nice group of guns, buddy! Is that a Security Six on the bottom? 3" or 4" barrel?
That's a Speed Six, and I think it's like a 2 3/4" barrel. 2 7/8" maybe. It's a factory spurless hammer, issued as an NYCPD off duty or backup gun. I got a nice letter from Ruger with some of that history behind it. .38 special only. Watch this forum in the coming weeks, you might see it wearing a new pair of shoes!

Thanks man. I really have come a long way in a short time. You have a little something to do with that, you know. Getting to know people like you makes me want to join the ranks.

I have to say, though I enjoy little trips to the range like today, I've really enjoyed the shotgunning the most. In fact, I'm taking a skeet lesson tomorrow after work, try to work out some fundamental problems.

They're not too bad down here right now...been 3 weeks without rain in any significant amount...but they're good pellet gun practice size.....now: you can only keep one handgun....which one would be your first choice???

I think it would depend. If I had one to just look at it'd be the Speed Six. One to enjoy shooting recreationally, no question, the GP100. But if things were going south, and I had to grab one out of a flooding house and venture into the wild and protect my family in a SHTF world, I'd grab that SR9 and my 3 extra magazines and sleep like a baby at night.

GP/SR9. Tough call.

Very nice Eddie! Any thoughts on what your next handgun will be? One of the guys at work is trying to persuade me to get a Sig P250. :?

The only thing I see on the horizon (and it's a distant horizon) is one of those lightweight black S&W revolvers. Those are sharp. But I'd be getting that for CCW, and I kind of have that covered with the PM40 and LCP. I'll probably focus on shooting my shotguns through the fall.

TN, two things: That tiny 44-40 is wild! I'd like to see a closer picture of that, please.

And I sure LOVE the grips on that .357 bottom left. Is that maple?? Very nice.
