Last Friday, President Trump took the historic step of ordering the “unsigning” of the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty during his address to the NRA-ILA’s Leadership Forum. President Trump’s action effectively withdraws the United States from the most comprehensive effort towards international gun control.

Thanks for posting that. I've seen some mention of the ATT, but not any real details like here. The mainstream propaganda isn't about to let it appear a bad thing. It could have wrecked the 2A.

Good for Trump. Obama got us into letting European liberals in NATO decide whether Americans can own guns in an attempt to circumvent the 2nd Amendment.

I’m hoping independent voters and all of the “Fly-Over Country” folks are taking notes on how much the liberals disregard their votes by pushing to eliminate the Electoral College so all future presidents will be liberals, overwhelmingly voted in by large population centers like West Coast, the Northeast and Chicago.

A careful read will show that the use of arms for individual and collective defense is notably missing from this statement......
Which is the primary point of why we have a second amendment.

This independent voter is taking notes.

And let's be realistic. The globalist "progressive" isn't limited to one party. I shudder to think what our country would be like under another Bush offspring, or a Mitt Romney.

During an interview with the NRA’s 1st Freedom, President Donald Trump said he would sign national reciprocity legislation for concealed carry if it reaches his desk.

The outlet posed the question:

Mr. President, each state’s driver’s license is honored across this great nation, yet a permit to carry a concealed gun — which, in contrast, is a right specifically protected in the U.S. Bill of Rights — is often not respected by other states. Will you support a national reciprocity act so that law-abiding gun owners can more easily travel with their freedom?

Trump responded by making sure the focus was on concealed carry permit holders crossing state lines, to which 1st Freedom said, “Yes.”

Trump then said, “I will support such legislation. If it comes across my desk I will sign it.”

This is the same position Trump promoted while seeking the Republican nomination for the presidency in September 2015.

On September 18, 2015, Breitbart News reported a Trump position paper wherein he voiced his support for national reciprocity, saying “The right of self-defense doesn’t stop at the end of your driveway. That’s why I have a concealed carry permit and why tens of millions of Americans do too. That permit should be valid in all 50 states.”

OK who watched it?
I thought the difference between the two was like night and day, or probably better put light and darkness.
I think Trump hit a homerun when he went into promise everything politicians vs. actually accomplishing goals set.
Hopefully Biden sealed his fate when he admitted he would end the oil industry, which is a major issue in many swing states.

Well, that was a first for me. The first time I watched Trump for the duration of anything and must say, although strained at times, he did pretty good. And, I was quite surprised the moderator was pretty fair, better than most of the recent ones.

Trump may be bombastic but he showed he has a handle on what he is trying to do and Biden was a bumbling idiot! These debates should have been earlier and the Biden corruption, much earlier, although it did during the impeachment process and was totally brushed off.
