You can't trust a dog to watch your food.

Dogs still have bad breath, even after eating a Tic-Tac.

Used to set My plate of food on My Cocker Spaniel's forehead & nose. He'd sit there & balance it till "I" took it off. Also, I could lay what was left of a T-Bone on the bridge of His nose, & say "stay", & unless I said "OK" to Him, He would sit there half the day, holding it & waiting !! Yes, "Even if I left the room" !! :) He was My #1 Buddy, & companion, & I still really miss Him, even after 10 years !

41 Magnum, I can leave my plate on the couch and leave the room-he sits and watches it...but won't touch it till I put it on the floor and tap it with my fork...then he approaches it real stealthily and nonchalantly eats what I left him and licks it clean...then backs away and leaves....it's his little "Oh, yeah, I guess I can help you with that" attitude that makes me laugh....dogs have far better character than SOME PEOPLE think we do.......
