I use them all the time. I had one misfire that looked like a solid hit so I popped it back in my 1911 and it fired the 2nd try. I don't know if it's common or not. I've shot a few hundred rounds without any failures. I have a lot of ammo loaded up and put away so I hope it isn't a problem.

My 1911 was a Taurus as well. :?

If it happens again just try it again thru the same gun and see what happens. I bet it'll fire. I wonder if it's a Taurus thing. My 45 Colt and 357 magnum loads all fired fine. These are revolvers too though.

I prefer them as well. Simply because I can use them in all loads.

Were they seated right? A little deep and it could cause a problem. I've fired many and have only had one fail to go boom. It did on the second try though.

I fired about 60 more in my Montado Friday and they all went bang.
