I got that Ram Prime off e-bay awhile back & haven't needed it until last night. NO Problems with high primers thats fer sure! I first mounted it in my Cast press, the first primer went in so easy I thought that was too easy. So I press a little bit more, Woops Too much! I'm still in shock that it didn't go off!   It mashed the hell out of that primer! So I tryed a few more (Real easy), they did ok but still looked a little over seated. So I mounted it in a smaller Lee reloader press I have & it did good (my big Cast Press just has a little too much leverage :? ). All in all I like it, I never liked priming on the down stroke (keeped getting high primers) & even my handheld Auto-Prime would occasionally leave one a little high. No problem now with the the R.P. just got to becareful not to mash the shit out of'm! :? :D

yep its a bit of a shock at first when you seat a primer with it and a sort of get a "that's it"? expression and thought..... so ya pull it out and look, rub it, put it on a pane of glass and check and then scratch my head and say dang that was easy.............

I prefer the ram prime for a lot of my loadin'.....might be a bit slower but worth it...

now if ya have not tried it, get ya one of those old classic lee loader kits where ya install the primer with a hammer

that's a whole new learnin' curve there!!!!!! but still a lot of fun on a rainy day....and an attention getter when one goes off!!!!
