I really think I'm going to like this gun. The one I looked at locally felt great. My BIL came over about 30 minutes after I ordered it, and when I told him about it he asked if I ordered him one too...so we logged on, set him up an acct, and he ordered one too....I really thought he was going with the AK.....Can't wait for it to get here, so I can head to the range....

Midway has the 13 rounders on sale right now for $21.95 ea....they are Springfield factory mags, so I assume that are probably made by Mecgar.....gonna order 3 or 4 tonight.....

I got the tactical kit that came with the 3 mags, another mag holster and a neat little plastic case for $50. I don't remember where though. It was a while ago.

Our local shop has two of the tactical kits....they want $75 each....they are in 9mm and .40 S&W.....

They've gone up in price I guess. At $50 it was a great deal. I couldn't find the magazines for less than $22 each at that time.

did you get the service model or the compact model?

I have the compact model so i can use the 10 rnders or the 13 rnders with the spacer.

The force must be with me, because I picked it up this afternoon....If it shoots as good as it feels, I'll like it.... .....will strip it and clean it tomorrow, and then Sunday afternoon, if all goes well, will take it to the range....
